The Public Highly Supports Both Infrastructure Bills

The charts above reflect the results of the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between July 27th and August 2nd of a national sample of 1,290 adults, with a 2.7 point margin of error.

There are two infrastructure bills being considered in Congress. The bipartisan plan which just covers hard infrastructure (like roads, bridges, broadband wifi, etc.), and a proposed $3.5 billion plan that would cover things like child care, education, family tax breaks, and expanded Medicare.

Republicans look like they will support the bipartisan bill, but are adamantly opposed to the larger plan proposed by Democrats. The American public doesn't agree with them. They show substantial support for BOTH bills.
