More Think Trump Is Doing A Bad Job Of Handling Epidemic

The charts above are from the CBS News / YouGov Poll -- done between April 7th and 9th of a national sample of 2,025 U.S. adults, with a 2.6 point margin of error.

They show that although the public was originally giving Trump the benefit of the doubt in his handling of the Coronavirus epidemic, they are starting to lose faith in his efforts. Back in March, 53% approved of his handling of it while 47 disapproved. Those numbers have now flipped -- with 47% approving and 52% disapproving.

Also, 71% say the Trump administration was not prepared for the epidemic, 58% say the battle against the virus is going badly, and only 37% trust the information Trump gives them.
